How to Recycle in Fairfield County

We offer 23 Residential Recycling Sites throughout Fairfield County. All of the sites can accept the following materials:

  • Aluminum Cans

  • #1 & #2 Plastics ONLY (water bottles, milk jugs, etc.)

  • Steel Cans (Vegetable, cat food, soup cans, etc.)

  • Newspaper, Magazines & Office Paper

  • Paperboard

  • Corrugated Cardboard 

Separate materials and pour materials directly into appropriate bins. Please, NO PLASTIC BAGS. If you are uncertain about an item’s capability to be recycled, please contact us and we would be happy to assist you!

Curbside

Due to funding, we do not offer residential curbside recycling at this time. Please check with your trash company to see if they offer curbside recycling.
